Baby & Child is a quarterly parenting magazine, website and events brand aimed at pregnant women and mums of children aged 0 to 4. Based in Dubai, we are a one-stop-shop resource for expat mums and mums-to-be who are looking for practical information on having a baby in the UAE. From which hospital to choose to breastfeeding support, family lifestyle and children’s health and development, we cover all aspects of being a new mother in the UAE in an inclusive, useful and non-judgmental way. Ever since we launched as a parenting supplement of Dubai women’s lifestyle title Aquarius magazine in 2014, we have also been hosting hugely popular Mummy Mornings every month – laidback and informal coffee mornings at venues across the UAE where new mums can meet other women at the same life stage. These have expanded to include pyjama parties, swimming sessions, fashion and style events, Halloween parties, Christmas markets and much more. At the core of our brand is a commitment to being as down-to earth and honest as possible - as mums ourselves, we know that parenthood can be fraught with guilt and insecurity. So we make sure that the topics and people we feature don’t add more pressure or judgment, whatever mums’ choices are.
